I am not the same, having seen the moon shine on the other side of the world.

National Geographic named this paradise as one of the 25 Wonders of the World and after experiencing this ethereal jewel of Iceland, I can see why.
The South Coast of Iceland holds a majority of the country’s most breathtaking landscapes. Check out some of my favorite moments while visiting.
Several years ago I had a conversation with a college mate that lead to the question of “What are you doing to feed your creative side?” being asked. I stopped and realized that I could not come up with anything. I mean, I spent most of my days staring at numbers and data but none doing things that REALLY EXCITE me- I love being a data analyst but it’s not as fun as climbing a mountain in hail and hurricane strength winds just to see a glacier. This is my attempt at cultivating a creative outlet for myself and others to enjoy.
The name Wildflower of the Wilderness came from my appreciation of beauty and meaning in the things that surround me- wilderness. You can learn something substantial from just about any and everything you encounter. A wildflower is a flower that grows without any intentional seeding or planting. With my travel and life experiences so shall I.
XO,
The Wildflower of the Wilderness
(noun) a flower of an uncultivated variety or a flower growing freely without human intervention.
